Travis comes from a childhood filled with building. His father, Doug Ketron was a master carpenter who built everything from custom homes to furniture. During his college days at The Ohio State University, Travis worked with local framing crews in the building of custom homes. After graduating from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Travis continued to work in the trades as a crew leader of a custom framing crew.
In 1999 Travis started Ketron Construction Inc. with a primary focus on custom framing, Ketron Construction Inc. framed numerous custom homes, several light commercial buildings, and one 4200 square foot log home. Since 2003, Travis continues to lead Ketron Construction Inc. under the DBA of Ketron Custom Builders. Now focused on high-end remodeling and custom homes, Travis strives to deliver reliable, high quality craftsmanship with unmatched customer service. The projects range from historic renovations to modern kitchens and baths to truly custom designed homes. These projects require a special skill set that demands attention to detail. Educated at The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Textile and Consumer Science and a focus in Product Development. Shari brings the softer side to the team by being the only female. She works intimately with the clients on the front end in the design process and the selections of products, pulling all the elements together to create a beautifully finished product.
Her favorite part of her job is making a difference in people’s lives and the way they live. There is no greater satisfaction when you come to the completion of a project and the client says “they absolutely love it” or “it’s better than they ever could have imagined”.
Shari is married to Travis, yes the president of Ketron Custom Builders and they have two boys and a black lab. She enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

As a Lead Carpenter, Jarred’s responsibilities include running daily operations of projects, scheduling, supervising on site work, as well as performing many of the required tasks each project demands.
Travis took a chance and hired Jarred on the first summer they were in business to help frame houses. It was Jarred’s first experience as a carpenter, I think both Travis & Jarred thought that this was probably just a temporary job. Who could have known Jarred would enjoy the work as much as he does. As Ketron Construction evolved, so did Jarred being a framer. Jarred’s skill set quickly expanded as we transitioned from framing houses to general contracting. During that time, Jarred found the passion for the finished detail aspect of carpentry which carries over today as a lead carpenter.
Jarred is married to his wife Sarah and has two wonderful kids; Isabel & Dylan. Jarred enjoys spending time with them, taking trips to the zoo and watching Ohio State football games. Jarred also enjoys their two French bulldogs. In his free time he loves to play golf (even though he’s not very good), making furniture, and taking classes at Marc Adam’s School of Woodworking.

As a Carpenter, Corey is responsible for assisting the Lead with daily activities. Corey also works autonomously to keep things moving while the Lead conducts meetings throughout the day. Corey has spent more than 24 years as a carpenter with experience in framing, exterior trim and copper roofing.
Before joining Ketron Custom Builders, Corey started out framing homes, worked in a custom mill-work shop, and worked for a commercial framing crew while attending art school. In 1998 he began working for a historical restoration company, traveling and working on unique projects. These projects include The Westcott house; built and designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, Eddie Rickenbacker’s childhood home, Rutherford B. Hayes tomb, installing a new copper dome on the State Capitol building in Tallahassee, FL and also the naval base in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. Having traveled and worked on each of these projects, has shaped him into a well rounded flexible worker.
Corey is driven by daily changes and challenges, he has a creative mind, and enjoys new projects. He was inspired by his father, who always pushed him to strive for the best, to follow through until the vision is complete. Corey enjoys each work day knowing there are new jobs and projects coming up. Each project is different, which keeps things interesting!
Outside of work, Corey is an avid deer hunter & fisherman. He enjoys anything outdoors; camping, riding ATV’s, disc golf, and spending time with his wife, family and dogs.
